How long have you worked at HubStars?

Tell us about your role at HubStars?
I am responsible for the Spanish product: its planning and execution; gathering information about market trends; customer requirements; defining the product necessities and improving current processes.
What’s your background?
I’ve studied Journalism and Media Communications in Spain. I’ve worked as a journalist for a local paper and then Amazon where I worked as an ES Account Manager. I’ve also worked as a Digital Marketing Manager for a Spanish agency.
What aspect of your job are you enjoying the most at the moment/what projects are you most excited about?
I have an “investigation” board in Trello which I am super passionate about. This allows me to have a full understanding of what’s going on in the platform, things to improve, new ideas to test… It is interesting and useful to see how different aspects (finance, sales, customer support…) are interconnected.
What has been your favourite HubStars trip or project to date?
My favourite was our Malaga conference, about a year ago. It was amazing to see all the partners and participate in our HubStars meeting as part of the team!
Tell us something we might not know about you?
I’ve got mottephobia, which means I have an irrational but devastating fear of moths and butterflies. I like spiders though 🙂
During lockdown what hobbies/skills/projects have you undertaken?
I’ve started to write a book! I’m already halfway through. My plan is to sell the rights to HBO after it’s published. They’ll make an amazing tv show (even better than GOT) and I will become rich (even richer than JK Rowling). Does daydreaming count as a hobby?
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Iceland! I want to see the land of fire and ice (and hopefully meet some elves).
Area of expertise?
Adwords, copywriting, identifying new needs for the platform, creating interesting content (at least I try from time to time)…
